There is no officially appointed patron saint of Artificial Intelligence (AI), but many look to Saint Isidore of Seville as the patron saint of the internet and technology, due to his massive encyclopedia of knowledge which is seen as a precursor to the internet. Another contender is Saint Carlo Acutis, a young computer programmer and blogger who died in 2006 and is known for his interest in the internet and building religious websites. Some also propose a prayer for guidance on AI, inspired by Saint Clare of Assisi, to ensure responsible AI development and use.
